“Great 1st Impression!...cant wait to for seconds!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2014

First tried Bubbcue last month after hearing loads or comments about it. Friend and I arrived around 7pm with not much of a queue. Counter staff were friendly and helpful giving us all the info on the menu. Pretty quick service and the food was great. Brisket and spicy beans are to die for!! Lemonade was also lovely. Nice to see somewhere offer something different for once. All tables provided with roll of kitchen roll - great for sticky fingers, mouths and those with kids.
Great place...will definitely be back!

“Fun, cheap and good value, tasty”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2014

the most annoying thing about this place is the ever present queue to get in. take it as a positive thing and try to time your arrival after the rush if you can ie 2pm rather than 12noon.

good qualiy pulled pork in a bap, fries and corn bread. fas quick and fun once you have ordered. great atmosphere and a mix of people though mostly studenty.

Best aspect is the really tasty sauces. try them all and pick your favourite if you can - all good.

“Nice food, unprofessional staff”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 8, 2014

I have been here 3 times now.
The food - The food is nice but a bit expensive for what you get. The mac and cheese portion is tiny. so is the chips portion. they also have been all out of beef brisket on 2 of the 3 visits we made.
Customer service - The customer service could be improved. One day there was a table but no available seats. We presumed the waitress would go and get us seats but my boyfriend had to walk around the restaurant asking "is there anyone sitting in that chair" until we both had seats. The staff are friendly but don't explain things well and the place is a bit disorganised.

Overall, the food is nice but don't expect a relaxing meal

“An excellent choice for a take away lunch in Belfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

At less than £7 this is one of my favorite take away lunches in Belfast. For your money you'll get a decent sized meat sandwich with fries, a pickle and two dips. There's no wrong meat choice but I tend to go for the beef brisket because I think it's the best tasting one.
Take the top off your beef brisket sandwich, pour half of each of your sauces on it, our the other half of each over your fries and eat up.
Not open on Mondays :-(

“Good meat!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 5, 2014

Went to this little establishment on 2nd Jan 2014, it's very basic, meat is good, chips are good for the money, didn't expect much more, will be back, need to be in the mood.
