The food was cooked to perfection. Staff were very attentive (Adil). Lol. The atmosphere was brilliant. The two guys singing were great.

“Wasn't as good as the reviews suggested - quite surprised......”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013 via mobile

Went here with a group of friends after reading tbe reviews. All in all it was very disappointing, especially considering the hype. All the food we were served was mediocre, with components as described on the menu missing and not very hot. Steaks were overcomes, cod was over cooked, sauces lacked any depth and were carelessly thrown together. The three times cooked chips probably weren't. No amount of nice plate ware or little baskets on plates can make up for mediocraty in food quality or poorly executed dishes. Service however, was good and friendly. Don't usually write a restaurant review until I have been at least twice, however, there will be no second visit to bourbon

“Great Place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Myself and my partner had the pleasure of having a Saturday night off, and decided to try this restaurant.
We arrived around 7.30 and were greeted with a welcoming smile. I like the new layout, a comfortable sofa area on the bottom floor of the restaurant offering a fun, hip atmosphere to enjoy one of their Fab cocktails, which we did before heading upstairs for the evening. Patrick (who is fantastic) seated us on a really lovely window table, the restaurant itself is bright and modern and tables are not to close together.
The food and is excellent, I hear they have a new chef and it shows! !!!!
We loved everything about the restaurant, its nice to find such an everyday restaurant doing such a good job.
Thanks again
And ill be back to try the new menu soon :)

“A great find – friendly service and excellent food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Modern, bright décor and exceptionally friendly service made this a place to try several times. Food is great and served beautifully. My favorite restaurant in the Queens University area.

“Lovely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2013

Very nice place and one of the best meals i have had in a long time, the cocktails and french martini were really nice aswell, the only negative thing i could say is that our plates were left on our table for quite a while after we had finished our dinner but then again we were up on the third floor and the restaurant was at full capacity so i was not too annoyed.
