“Go just for the Gumbo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 8, 2013

Food is really good. This place is dangerously close to my work, so I visit regularly, mostly to take-out. The chicken and prawn gumbo is great for chilly days. Specials and soups also very good.

“restaurant food, cafe prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

I have eaten lunch in this cafe a couple of times a week since it opened and i have never been disappointed. Aaron is a great chef and his curries especially the thia green is one of the best i have ever eaten.

If you are going for lunch try to make it before 1pm or after 1.45pm as it's not unsual for the queue of customers to be out the door.

defintitly the best cafe in Belfast. Its so good i even go there on my day off.

“Great Cafe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

If I go into the city centre during the day and I feel a bit peckish, this is the place to eat.
Good selection of food at great prices.
They do breakfasts, and for lunch you can get anything from a simple but tasty baked potato, to chilli, to gumbos. Their chicken and broccoli bake is gorgeous, and it's a big portion.
Service is quick and very pleasant.

The only downside is the place is popular so hard sometimes to get a seat.. though if you are bringing it back to the office, the service is quick that you wont be wasting half your lunch break waiting on it.

A must-try for lunch

“Hidden gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2013

After reading the reviews on here we decided to give this place a go. We got there at 12.30 so it was busy but saying that our order was taken swiftly and we ma managed to get a table , I ordered the spicey creamy chicken and mushroom banquette with a side salad , my other half ordered the piri piri chicken banquette with side salad , we both agreed that each was very tasty. We would definatly come and eat here again.
