“Pleasant Stay with Friendly Staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2014

We only stayed one night in Days hotel and found it quite pleasant. Rooms were a nice size and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was reasonably priced (it was not included in our booking, but that was our choice).

If there was anything to fault, it was that we asked for a wakeup call at 7:30 am, but never got one. Luckily we were awake and didn't miss anything.

PS - parking is at a reduced rate across the road as Days do not have their own parking. I am not reducing my rating for this as it is well communicated so it was not a surprise.

Room Tip: Breakfast is £8.50 pp, so if you think you will be eating there, take it into consideration when boo...

Stayed here again whilst visiting Belfast to watch the Ulster GP Road Race. Brilliant location for all airports, bus station, shops, bars and restaurants. Book in advance and get excellent rates. Food very good and huge portions given, English and Continental breakfast.

We stayed here on a Saturday night as we were going to see "Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway". Price was cheap but that was because we got a deal through NI Railway which included return train fare and 1 night stay in the Days Hotel Belfast including breakfast. Hotel is about 100 yards from the train station which was good, reception is right at the front door and there is a small bar just beside it. We were quick to check in but when we were given the key card and went up to the room there was a problem, the room we had been given had guests checked into it and must have literally just left the room as you could strongly smell perfume and there luggage was sitting on the bed...not a good start Days Hotel. So we went back down and said to 1 of the men in reception who had asked us "was there guests in the room or just luggage", no offence but what difference would that make!? He then pawned us off onto the the man who got us sorted with a new room, this room really wasn't the nicest or cleanest of rooms, huge crack going from the window right across the wall that you could stick your finger in, lamp shades were really badly stained with God only knows what and the view was...well lets just say you wouldn't need to have been easily offended. Breakfast the next morning left alot to the imagination, cold counter looked nice, hot food wasn't hot and looked like it hadn't been touched in hours and the tea and coffee was hidden in the corner. Not a good stay, more than likely won't be back here again.

My Dad and I ended up in Belfast as a last minute decision and we booked at days hotel online just an hour before check in. Our room was really nice and it was quiet. We had a drink in the lobby which was great. It is also close to everything (we were on foot).

The hotel is pretty well located only 10 min from the City Hall, which makes it easy to go anywhere around Belfast from the reception.
As already pointed out by other reviewers, the view over the car park is not the most glamourous in NI.
The room we had was clean, and on the 6th floor nicely quiet, although, being in such a large establishment, pretty anonymous. The towels were also changed every day, even though we left them on the racks. So much for saving energy/detergents.
Also it would have been nice to be told about how to access wi-fi upon arrival, rather than having to request it on the first evening.
Another question is why breakfast, however good it was, is so expensive and not included in the room price? This would be very much appreciated, in addition to the fact that under-12's eat free.
However I have only praise for the staff, always at hand to answer any questions, smiling and knowledgeable. This goes for all we had contact with at reception, breakfast room and 'chambermaids'.
The last gripe would be for the 25 min I spent on the phone waiting in vain for Reservations to pick up when I wanted to confirm my booking (I am still to receive a confirmation email, by the way). I ended up ringing again and asking for Reception, who answered my query immediately.

Room Tip: 3rd floor and above: the dim of traffic is greatly reduced. The odd room numbers (1, 3, 5, etc.) fac...

Great room at a good price, clean and comfortable. View from bedroom window was over the back of the hotel, not the best view of Belfast!! Close to shops and bars.. No proper bar or social area in the hotel. Breakfast was better than average and hot.

stayed in this hotel at end of July. Hotel was clean and central to shops and restaurants. Reception staff slow and not helpful at all, when you ask a question they just look at you, and complain and its as if it don't matter to them at all. The only staff member i can praise out of my stay, was a i think polish young girl black hair (sorry bad with names) but she was so nice and attentive top marks, get her to train the reception staff. The room was spotless ad clean. wifi good but you have to pic up at reception every day, which we were not told at start, and rang down looking for it and told (oh ul have to come down to reception for it) rude and no manners.
I would stay again but would not except the crap or bad manners.
