“Good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 21, 2013

We stayed in the Days Hotel for two nights this month. We usually stay here while attending an exhibition in Belfast. We have used the hotel for several years. Its location is very good with a large free car park beside the hotel.

On previous visits we found the staff level very low. However, these issues has been resolved with adequate staff in the bar and restaurant.

The breakfast was not 5 star but more than adequate. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant but the menu looked quite good, although you had to eat in the reception area.
A good hotel if you want to be in the centre of Belfast at a reasonable price.

Later this month the free car park will cease, this may have a negative effect on local patrons.

I stayed at the Days Hotel in Belfast on 19/05/2013. I used this as a base to explore Belfast and then further north towards the Giant's Causeway. The room was clean, spacious, had all the usual facilities (Tea & coffee/TV, desk etc) and staff were very helpful. The hotel is situated directly opposite Great Victoria Street Train Station/Europa Bus Centre so it is incredible easy to find and to then travel onwards from. The cost of the room was very competitive (Probably due to its slightly dated decor) and comes with 24 hours worth of free WiFI (Just ask for the passcode at reception!). Overall, more than happy with my stay there!

The hotel is in the city centre and close to everything of interest. As you drive into the hotel grounds there is no parking available, just a set down area. Upon check in we found that the car park next to the hotel is pay and display for general public but free for hotel guests. The room was on the top floor (8th) overlooking Sandy Row and beyond. The heating was switched off and we had to seek instructions on how to put it on. Also there was no information in the room about any facilities or services available at the hotel. You just have to keep calling the reception or ask them directly. If you want an iron and ironing board you have to collect it in person from the reception. There were only two sockets in the room, one for the tv and one for the kettle. The iron itself was in a bad state and very dirty. There was free WiFi in the hotel, we had to ask for 24hr pass codes at the reception. Basic 3* hotel, you shouldn't expect anything over and above that standard.

Room Tip: Higher floors to enjoy better views of the city

A night in Belfast, close to the City centre was spent at Days Hotel which is convenient to the bus and train stations. We had our car, and with the various one way roads it was difficult to access the car park, as our 'sat nav' did not know about this. It was therefore fortunate that it was a Sunday and not during working hours.
The hotel is quite large, very busy, and provides good sized rooms with equally roomy ensuites. However, the decor is decidedly in need of some upgrading and the television was very old. The bed was comfortable. Room rates probably reflect the age and stage of the hotel.
We enjoyed a meal in the dining room but found the meal comparatively expensive.
Staff on reception and in the dining room were all friendly and helpful and definitely make a positive impression.

Very close to the city centre and great value for money, I have stayed her 4 times with friends and family, it is also close to Robinsons one of the best pubs in Belfast.

The rooms are very clean and the self service breakfast is really good.

Nice central hotel. Good value. Nice clean but basic rooms. Good value, freshly cooked breakfast . We ate in the hotel because the weather was abysmal.evening meal was very nice and good value. The hotel was feeding a large number of tourists but service was very friendly on all occasions.
We booked a city bus trip. It's a good idea to book through the hotel as it is MUCH cheaper. They will come and pick you up . The bus tour will drop you at the Titanic and is also very good value.
As is the titanic exhibition.
Don't pack your shorts and tee shirt though!

Room Tip: Get a high room for a good view of the city at night

We stayed for one night and were delighted with the value for money and location of this budget hotel. There is free parking beside the hotel and it's a very short walk to the city centre attractions. Check in was friendly and efficient and our bedroom was clean and a decent size overlooking Sandy Row.

We did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment on the food but there was a large German tour group eating there on the night we stayed. We thought it was very good value for a budget hotel. Would stay there again.
