Booked this hotel for its proximity to the Europa Bus Station which is adjacent. We were attending a concert at the Waterfront Hall and this is about 15-20 minutes walk away, so pretty convenient.
The receptionist was friendly and helpful, we wanted information on Taxi tours of Belfast and she offered to contact the taxi company , it was as easy as that. The tour took in visits to the Falls Road and Shankill areas and the driver was very knowledgeable . He gave us a very interesting history of the Troubles and detail of today's position between the communities.
We had a non-smoking room as reserved and this was a very spacious and well appointed room, above expectations. It was also very quiet, as was the hotel in other areas. The breakfast was a full buffet and was good quality.

The Crown Bar is just across the street and is well worth a visit although it has scaffolding round it just now . The inside is pretty special and food is available upstairs.

We dined at the Red Panda Chinese Restaurant in Gt. Victoria Street and recommenr their pre-theatre offer. For £25.50 two people get an excellent choice of 3 courses and a bottle of good quality wine . The food is excellent here and the restaurant is busy, proving the point. Pre-theatre meals are available until 6.15pm.
Days Hotel is very well located in Belfast and we would definitely stay here again

My wife and I stayed here on Fri 26 Oct as it was less than 5 mins walk to the Opera House where we attended a show.
We paid £65 (no Breakfast) and I have to say the hotel was all that you would need. Room a good size, clean etc and we decided to eat our evening meal in the hotel restaurant. That was as good a meal as I have ever had. 5 Star meal. We had mains & desert + a bottle of wine = Total £40.
You can stay at other Hotels nearby but you will pay over twice the price....
Free car parking a big bonus, we stayed in the Hilton a few times and then got stung for a car park bill of £12.

Good breakfast, Free parking is a plus. Rooms were ok, asked for a non smoking room on a non smoking floor, was given a smoking room with the ashtrays removed!! I complained and was given a different non smoking room (after waiting for about 20 minutes) 10 minute walk to main shopping areas/city centre. If you like your hotels posh... give this one a miss, if you're on a budget it's fine.

We stayed at Days on a 1 night stopover before heading up to the Causeway. There isn't really anything we can complain about, the hotel was clean, comfortable and functional and staff were polite and friendly. Days is ideally situated for visiting Belfast and despite being so close to the centre our room was amazingly quiet. Unfortunately we didn't get to sample the breakfast included in our stay, a few too many Guiness' the night before put paid to that but for value for money this place is great. Would definately stay there again, and would recommend to anyone planning a short stay trip to Belfast.

This hotel is located 10 mins walk from shopping area, no need to use car at all and free parking. About 20 mins to walk to Odyssey. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Excellent value for money. Rooms are clean and comfortable but make sure to ask for a non-smoking room if you are a non-smoker as smoking rooms do smell of cigarettes.

  • Disliked — Bar was v small, room smelt of smoke
