We were a little nervous to try this restaurant as the flashing lights outside were a bit off putting and it was impossible to view the interior of the restaurant and see if anyone else was eating already. However we had a warm welcome from the staff who were friendly and helpful and there were a couple of other tables occupied.
As others have said the food was not dissimilar to Indian restaurants - which is true - but it was not exactly the same. We had a chicken set meal which came with a variety of dishes and was a trouble free way of ordering. We really enjoyed it. It was spicy without being overpowering and very tasty. It was good value too. We discussed our feelings re: the flashing lights and difficulties viewing the restaurant from the outside with the owner who was pleased to receive feedback. He immediately parted the curtains so that potential customers could peep inside.
My husband intends to go back to this restaurant during his time working in Belfast as he would very much like to try other things on the menu.
We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Indian and spicy food.
