Owner description: The Titanic Belfast visitor attraction extends over nine galleries, with multiple dimensions to the exhibition. Drawing together special effects, dark rides, full-scale reconstructions and innovative interactive features you will explore the Titanic story in a fresh and insightful way from her conception in Belfast in the early 1900s, through her construction and launch, to her infamous maiden voyage and catastrophic demise. The journey goes beyond the aftermath of the sinking, to the discovery of the wreck and continues into the present day in the Ocean Exploration Centre.

“Told the story well at a reasonable price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012 via mobile

Have heard some complaints, but I felt it told the story in a way everyone irrespective of age could understand. The entry price for us oap's was reasonable, and I enjoyed the experience
Well done Belfast

“Missing the Wow Factor”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Back in Belfast (originally from County Antrim) for Christmas from Australia with my family and was really looking forward to visiting Titanic Belfast. First impressions are very good with a great building design and clearly lots of thought gone into the layout. After going through the full experience we were left quite disappointed as it seemed to lack a real WOW factor. I thought to myself it really needs more than lots of videos, sound effects and screens, it needs some real physical artefacts which provides a real photo opportunity e.g. a photo on the staircase of the Titanic. I left a little deflated only to find out afterwards that they actually do have a staircase but this is NOT part of the normal tour. Oh no this main attraction is locked away upstairs for "special events" such as gala dinners and weddings!!. I am confused this a major worldwide tourist attraction but for those tourists you will never have the opportunity to see one of the main attractions. This is preserved only for the local people, simply a poor decision and one which I am not the first to notice.

“Christmas treat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2012

Visited with my friend when over in Belfast for Christmas shopping. "Crew" within the Titanic were all excellent, knowledgeable and hospitable. Tour lasted just over 2 hours, seating is provided at various points within the exhibition and for those with mobility issues can access all parts. I admit prior to the visit I was not enthused about going round but can truely recommend a visit. It is amazing to see the reconstruction of some of the parts the men had to work on and the HEIGHT not for the faint hearted. Well done Belfast for a great exhibition.

“What an amazing place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

We spent over 2 hours here on our trip to Belfast. The complete Titanic story is told here and there is social history of the people and Belfast running in tandem with it. There is much to see and experience but our two hours very quickly. It is perhaps the type of place to visit once or twice but they take an innovative approach to understanding the history of the Titanic.

“Very fun for Titanic buffs”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

This is a really great way to spend the day, though it can be a bit pricey if you want to buy souvenirs. The exhibit is really thorough and well presented, and they really make you feel the Titanic experience. The footage of the original Titanic launch is incredible. I highly recommend!
