I am not surprised that this is #1. I took my two cousins, aged 20 and 18, from Cork - not sure what to do with them we booked Joe's tour. Joe's balanced presentation with his wealth of knowledge, the pictures and videos on the Ipad, interesting stories, genuine warmth and his infectious enthusiasm showed me the qualities of a true teacher. This tour is absolutely outstanding. I have been on bus tour in 2012 and I have to say that taxi cab tour is much better. Lads know their stuff and they are really professional. John was a great guide and it is such good because he was involved in that story personally.It is great when you can interact with guide, ask him questions and that makes this tour excellent. I had doubts about whether to go into Belfast at all on our recent trip around Antrim and Donegal, as I am not a city person. But as we decided to head into the city for the morning, we thought it would be worth going on the tour, and it sure was worth it. John was a fantastic guide with so much personal information that gave a fabulous insight into the torrid history of these areas. In a nutshell we would recommend anybody visiting the north to go on one of these tours and the Balfast Mural Tours in particular.
