I stayed on a Saturday night as part of a conference. I had a family room. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were decent too.
I don't like petty negatives, but I will be honest. I noticed an abundance of scuff marks on the paint work in the room and the corridors to it. It just looked shabby for a 4* Hotel. That said, the paint work was worn...not dirty. Just saying that its something that I noticed.
The hotel is located near Queens University. The area is full of leafy avenues and good nightlife.
The hotel has a large open plan lobby, bar, coffee bar. it has a nice atmosphere with locals stopping in for a coffee and a peek of the newspaper. On Saturday night, there was live music and a small disco catering for an older crowd.
The food served to us was excellent and good quality. Breakfast is self-service....excellent range with plenty of Ulster treats like Potato and Soda bread!
The staff are an asset to this Hotel...very helpful and very courteous at all times.
I usually get to stay here once a year and I always enjoy the experience.
