We visited on a rainy day, even though the hill is a bit of a trek, it's definitely worth a visit. The building is just stunning from the outside, and the inside is outstanding. We missed the official tours which were at 10am & 3pm, but enjoyed the history of how stormont was built. Every member of staff we met were genuinely lovely, really enjoyed our banter with the security guards in the security building you pass through to gain entry. A special mention must be made to the lovely Tom & Stuart, the custodians who took the time to chat to two wet and weary scots folk, they were friendly and took photos for us, it was lovely taking the time to chat to them, I think my husband could have stayed another half hour just chatting to them, thanks guys!!
