“Beautifully renovated church”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

If you're in the City Hall area why not take the short walk to St Malachy's Church nearby, it's certainly worth a visit.
It was renovated during the past year and looks really well with a lovely altar piece and painting above it.

“Take a moment”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

You should call in here to see this place. It was refurbished, and the interior is really amazing. The ceiling is fantastically decorated. The chuch is shallow back to front so that the congregation are all close to the front. On a day out in Belfast it is a nice oasis to escape all the traffic noise. You can sit, or kneel, and be still. Whatever your faith, it is a place to be at peace, and all are welcome.

“beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

this church is beautiful. The decor is apparently textbook *something*, but I am not sure what, all I know is that it is pretty, and light, with candles, statues of saints, and roof covered in white decorations that are like preaks of egg white.

“Lovely quiet church in the middle of Belfast bustle.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

The layout of this church is unusual among European churches I've been to, being transverse; the effect is startling, giving an immediacy to the altar from the pews that is not seen in larger churches. The vaulted 'cake topping' ceiling is a site to behold, and the light in the afternoon, particularly in the winter, is almost spectral.

A quiet retreat for the spiritually-minded.
