“Well Worth A Visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013

The Botanic Garden consists of a tropical plant house including goldfish and a Victorian Palm house and the fantastic Ulster Museum and the best bit is they are all free. You could spend the whole day here this is a must do in Belfast

“A haven”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 25, 2013

A very pleasant place to stroll through, beautiful trees, sweeping lawns, lots of birds. The Tropical Ravine is charming - a little brick-built Victorian version of the Eden Project - especially welcoming on a dismal cold day! The elegant Palm House is also worth seeing - it is just a very beautiful thing.

“chill out zone”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 12, 2013

Botanic gardens is haven to chill out in on a warm summers day, the museum on a rainy day & the botanical palm house is perfect for a taste of almost tropical warmth when its too cold outside. the history of the buildings & park are very impressive as well. the restaurant in the museum is a bit of a let down but there are many good places nearby like the french bakery, boojum or cayenne
