booked at the last minute and was very impressed with the service. the receptionist couldn't have been more helpful. the room was lovely and very clean with a nice clean bathroom. the only let down was the lack of sockets - I had to plug out the tv to put on the kettle and to use the hair dryer the next morning!
would stay again if this issue was sorted !

Madisons has a large public bar, probably more important and valuable than Hotel. Very attentive and courteous reception staff helped overcome some difficulties including TV without instruction book and that initially would not work, shower that one could not initially switch on. However, superior room was comfortable although initally on arrival bathroom was smelly, and room had only one chair, unusual in a double room for two. Whilst comfortable and with good staff, hotel seems to be lacking flair and that better quality. Breakfast is an example where selection from public menu is restrictive.Whilst public smart bar is busy, it was not disturbing having a 'quiet room'. Location good near to Botanics and Ulster Museum although located on a busy road. Weekend booking of 3 nights for price of two was good value, but otherwise a little pricey for its amenities.

just got back from a weekend at this hotel and would definately recommend it to anyone.
there was just one slight misunderstanding.. we booked one of the special 2 night package deals and the wording lead us to believe we had booked for bed, breakfast and evening meal for both nights. we found out as we checked out that the price only covered 1 evening meal.

stayed here to attend daughter's graduation-very good value for money, staff were lovely, room was clean and comfortable, so handy to train station, university and lovely restaurants , breakfast was great and was included in rate-a small bit of noise from the street but it is a student area and it was graduation week so cannot expect otherwise really- with window closed it was not a problem. Will stay again soon-lovely wee hotel, lovely area. Thank u to staff!

i have been staying at Madison's since last November on a regular monthly basis whilst attending a training course. The staff are all great, professional and fun. I particularly appreciated this on my last stay when i needed some help due to being plastered, of the "of paris" type, to my right hand!

Thoroughly recommend a stay with them and I will certainly be back asap.

Well where I start,
I started frequenting this hotel in 2005 and I wouldn’t use any other hotel in Belfast I have in the past but none of them rank in my opinion half as good as Madison’s,
The question you have to ask is what do you want in a hotel? well Madison’s your stay starts so well with the radiant smile of Coleen or Tina as you walk through the door that makes you feel like you have been here before, the whole feel and ambiance of Madison’s relaxes you from the outset, the Guinness is amazing and the food is to die for, Madison’s isn’t just a hotel it’s a way of life it’s like one big family and they will welcome not only into the hotel's family but their hearts too.
They always remember your name and will always spend time chatting to you.
I hope that you too come to Madison’s and see that even away from your own house you find a home.

I stayed with my husband for 2 night in April for a weekend break. The hotel was of an excellent standard for 3 star, large room with a huge bathroom and bed with very modern and tasteful furnishings. Very quiet despite being on a main road - we looked on to a kind of courtyard on the roof if that makes sense (room 308) and heard no noise whatsover. Staff excellent and the maid service one of the best I have experienced. The hotel is located very centrally and there is no end of bars, restaurants etc on your doorstep. Hotels own bar and restaurant very good and reasonable prices. For what we paid we were very, very impressed. I find it hard to understand the negative reviews as we could find no faults whatsoever.
