Perfect spot for an overnight stay. Did not use bar or restaurant for dinner so can't really comment. Rooms basic quite small but clean. Bonus that breakfast served until 3pm at weekends and lovely fry it was! Staff very friendly too. Not suitable of you are looking for 4 or 5 star luxury but definitely worth considering for an overnight stay. Will definitely be back

Stayed up here on sat night the 16th for my 30th birthday with a few friends, we had a brilliant time, didnt have to leave the hotel once as everything you needed for a night out was in the Hotel. We were particularly pleased with one of the hotels reception staff, David. David could not have done enough for our party of 9, anything we asked him (which was alot lol) was done and nothing was to much trouble! he def made our night! We had a brilliant stay, great wee band in the main bar and great craic down in the night club! Rooms were grand to couldnt really fault them, the only down side i have is the breakfast, wouldnt have been 10/10, i think maybe consider a buffett breakfast?? but no other complaints! Thank you for making my 30th a night to remember :-)

Staff especially David was very helpful...he was very attentive and nothing was a problem. .rooms ok had everything we needed.some were a bit nosy but thats because was a sat night and was at front of hotel onto main street.lots of noise with people coming and going. And they were going to chip shops n pizza shops at all hours of morning...

We had booked the hotel for its location as it is in a busy nightlife area. On booking we were offered a Superior room at a reasonable price, so we took it. We arrived at the hotel at 5:30 pm, immediately I noticed that the entrance was dirty and weeds were growing out of the front steps, the windows were also filthy. On entering the reception I noted that it was "grubby". I spoke to the receptionist and asked to see our room which was on the first floor. We decided to walk up the stairs to our room, as we did so we noted that the carpet was very worn and that a number of cigarette butts were lying about. We walked along the corridor to our room and noted that breakfast trays were stills lying in the corridor, the smell was horrible. On entering our Superior room we were totally disappointed. The room had a foul smell, the furniture was old and dated, and had 'ring' burn stains everywhere. The grouting in the tiles in the bathroom was disgusting, they were full of mildew. The one good thing about the room was that the bedding was fresh and clean. The floor did not seem to have been cleaned. We left the room very disappointed, and explained to the receptionist that the room was not fit for purpose and that we would find accommodation elsewhere. This hotel needs to be refitted from top to bottom, it is old and battered. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

The fact two dinners, two breakfasts and an overnight stay cost us around USD100 was about the only redeeming feature of this rather worn and unremarkable property. It's in a great area of Belfast (hip, multicultural, students, coffee bars etc) which is anorther plus. However the rooms stink (the drains need a damn good bleaching and clearing out!), the beds have celebrated far too many nights of activity, the TV/cable system is problematic, and the decor is so 60s. The breakfasts and dinners were adequate and fulsome (though the bar was very, very noisy). If you're looking for a cheap deal with a few meals thrown in, this works. If you're looking for a comfortable night's sleep and a clean room, forget this place now!

Room Tip: Ask for a room NOT facing the street.

Hotel was nice - reception staff was ok - lacked social skills - he looked very disinterested in his job - rooms are not as advertised - the toiletries are completely different than advertisement - the room looks completely different than advertised! It was very noisy - view out the back window was into a building which could see in my room...!! It was a plan and simple hotel - I would of been happy if I knew what I was expecting so I was disappointed - I could of stayed elsewhere for less money but I was lead to believe that the rooms were nicer and the hotel was fancier - was meant to get newspaper everyday but hotel didn't even stock them!!! it was a nice basic hotel but it was advertised to be fancier. so I think that is why I am disappointed..

Room Tip: restaurant nice - staff very friendly - they have residents bar till late

The big downside of this hotel was the noise. First floor room above the bar you could sing along with the tunes from the bar as if you were down there. We moved to first floor above reception just as noisy. There was not much difference between a superior and regular room. There was music all evening from the bar also live band Friday and Saturday nights. People out on the streets all night shouting screaming etc. residents trying to get back into hotel during the night would hammer on door downstairs sounded as if they were coming into your room! From early morning shops got deliveries so huge refrigerated lorries outside. All in all if you would like some sleep after a days sightseeing then probably not for you. To balance this room was clean and tidy, breakfast was okay staff need to let you know what is included though. Cocktail happy hour was excellent at £3 a drink
