“Again for sure”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 1, 2013

I spent a week in Belfast with the rugby team and we stayed at the Madison. The rooms were clean, the staff were polite, professional and welcoming. The restaurant was above par and the bar was great in the evening. All in all, it's a great place to stay when in Belfast. Highly recommended.

My husband stays at this Hotel every 6 weeks when he is working in N Ireland and always commends the Hotel. I had to go and see what all the fuss was about. This Hotel is fabulous, in walking distance to the City, the receptionist was welcoming, nothing too much trouble, rooms are beautifully decorated, a good size and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. Very good service cannot fail. Small personally run hotels like this are far better than the big bed factories. Now understand why my husband has been coming here for 14 years. Look forward to my next visit.

Stayed here for Valentines night with my partner and was extremely disappointed. Wasn't allowed to check in until 3pm which is quite late I think especially for such a small place. The rooms are spacious but nothing special, the T.V. has about 6 leads trailing out of it with a broken freeview box dangling and looks absolutley terrible and better still it didn't even work, so maybe it needs 7 leads. Went down to reception to tell them about this and they said they would send someone up to take a look. A man who served me my drink behind the bar before i came up to my room came to fix the television. After about 10 minutes of pushing the leads into the television (which I told him I tried several times before I contacted reception) he said he would get someone else. We waited an hour while getting ready and still nothing. When checking out in the morning i said to reception that i wasn't happy and their reply was " yeah theres a couple of rooms with that problem." Wasn't offered anything for the service i didn't get which is included in the room, not even an apology. 100% would never stay here again!!

Myself and my partner stayed in madisons recently and have only positive things to say. The staff were very welcoming and very accomodating and helped us with choosing things to do in belfast. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was exceptional and great value with the two courses for 10 pounds offer. The bar staff were very friendly and offered us a great selection of cocktails which were delicious. Our room was very clean and comfy and the hotel location was so convenient. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to everyone..

Took a special deal £90 per couple for dinner b&b. I told receptionist on arrival that it was my partners birthday & she offered us a free upgrade to a larger room. I found her very friendly, helpful & welcoming (I think her name was Pamela) On entering the room it was indeed very spacious although the furniture was past its best but overall great value inc dinner
