“As perfect as ever !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2011

Like expected, this was another perfect stay in Roger and Olive's B&B. Setting the Standard for long years, i can only give the Top-Rating to this House. Everything is very clean, King-Size Bed was so comfortable as sleeping on a cloud. And, for sure, the Breakfast was so yummy...try the "Vegetarian Soda", you'll love it ! We will come back soon !

We stayed here one night. Roger greeted us when we arrived. Offered tea and coffee. We asked about dinner, he recommended a place with in a few blocks that was perfect. This B&B is in an old home. Rooms were large and well appointed. Bath was good. We slept well.

We ordered breakfast the night before and was served promptly when we came down stairs.

We would return again, not so sure I am anxious to return to Belfast though.

Olive and Roger couldn't have been more helpful hosts. We were welcomed with tea and biscuits. They provided free off street parking, a list of good restaurants, maps, bus routes. They were very helpful with tourist information and directions. Unique to Ravenhill was freshly squeezed orange juice and kippers as well as the usual Irish breakfast.

We had a wonderful, comfortable stay. Olive and Roger go out of their way to make visitors welcome. Breakfast was exceptional, with creative delicious choices and freshly squeezed orange juice. The rooms are spotlessly clean and cozy with all the amenities, Bed was very comfortable, too. Location is excellent - right on the bus line to downtown in a quiet neighbourhood with great restaurants nearby. We highly recommend this B and B to anyone visiting Belfast.

Had an excellent stay at the Ravenhill Guesthouse. Very welcoming staff, excellent breakfast, and great location. The staff went above and beyond what was required to deal with a lost baggage issue I was dealing with. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for 5 nights in July. Don't let the slightly faded hall carpet put your off. This is a lovely house and very clean and well kept. It is a large double fronted detached red brick villa in a really central location, in a nice area, and just away from the main traffic. Good off street parking and WiFi throughout. The house is really well appointed; a large, cosy, guest living room ( plump sofa's, bay window, games books, piano and PC/WiFi) and guest dining room ( bay window, separate tables with old, individual patterned, bone-china milk & sugar sets to distinguish the tables, Nicholas Mosse bowls & jugs on the sideboard.) My room was en suite ( great power shower), with large sash bay windows one could open in the summer evening. The bed linen was changed during my stay, and the room itself cleaned and made up daily. I had a lovely desk to work on in the bay window. What was extra special was the welcome from Olive, her cheerfulness and concerned, relaxed ,manner throughout the stay a wonderful asset and really appreciated. Roger, realxed and helpful, another asset. The breakfast looked great ( I'm a tea and toast only person) and the other guests all looked happy and pleased to be there. Tea and biscuits on an individual tray offered if one was there in the afternoon was so welcome. A discount for a longer stay made it especially good value. When back in Belfast again I would not stay anywhere but here; 4 star hotel standard but home from home feeling.
