I think this was a great choice - had to stay overnight in Belfast on short notice and a local friend recommended the nearby Park hotel. Excellent choice for business travelers, clean room and everything else you'd expect when you are away from home.

Room Tip: Tip generously, it always gets you the best service.

i stayed here with my boyfriend for one night before flying early in the morning to london. Really disappointed i couldnt stay longer :( such lovely staff, always had a pleasant smile and very welcoming and helpful :) breakfast was WOW, had a full english and i couldnt fault anything . I dont eat much so i left a bit only because i was stuffed! lovely girl working down at breakfast aswel taking our order :) compliments to the chef lol.
we stayed in a superior room and oh my was it super! the bed was like sleeping on big marshmallow...soooo comfy ! So clean both the bathroom and the room ...i was being a proper inspector as i work as a house keeper in a hotel myself.House keeping are well trained and keep the rooms amazingly. The smell of the hotel was clean and fresh and it was just lovely! Not one spec of dust. Hot chocolate in the room, nice touch even though i dont like it but still a nice touch :) To the management- payrise for the staff? lol

I stay here in transit whilst visiting family in (L)Derry & Belfast. The first of my brood live just around the corner and I remember the Arches/Holywood & The 'Hack from childhood so the whole experience is familiar to me: greatly helped by the casual but professional attitude of the staff.

The hotel has cool but overlooked garden area at the front, effectively screened by trees & shrubbery from the daytime bustle of the (increasingly) trendy Hoylwood & Belmont Road areas, something you may be grateful for if you've braved the shopping experience of Belfast or just arrived at the nearby Belfast City Airport.

Although this is a well-established, very well presented venue for overnighters, business trippers or havers-of-affairs, staffed by helpful, dutiful and relaxed personnel - you pay for it.

Cheaper options abound in an increasingly popular venue such as Belfast, but the Park holds its own in my opinion, (for a night or three, just), given its location, the cool ambience and peace of mind it offers in a location just nicely removed from the City, but with the wider, greener Northern Ireland and more than adequate means of getting there on the doorstep.

Stayed at this hotel due to a family funeral and an area known to me. Never again, air con didn't work, free wifi was non existent, room service stopped at 9pm and the front of house manager needs to learn some people skills. Breakfast was average. Room was average. The only good thing I can say was the two receptionists that looked after me where fab. There manager needs to learn a bit from those two.!!

Stayed here for a weekend, got there too late for dinner (arrived at 10.20 pm) sadly. The receptionist gave directions to a Chinese restaurant instead. Breakfast on Saturday was ok but nothing special, standard fare, would have liked to see some more interesting cereals other than the Kellogg's box set, plus alpen. Rooms spotlessly clean, with tea and coffee, iron etc. a bit tight on space. No safe. Did not advertise that they did room service......normally there is an advert somewhere. So we paid for breakfast in the rate but ate none on the Sunday, because we woke at 10 am. This was our fault apparently. I would expect a) some communication that room service was available and b) for some room service beyond 9 am on a Sunday, and sit down breakfast to extend to 11 am on a Sunday. It is the weekend after all. So unfortunately the non existent food options spoilt my stay.

This beautiful hotel surpassed its 4 stars with its immaculate sparkle and warm smiles from the staff.
Our room was 116 and totally Wowed us with its posh decor and spa-like bathroom.

Our bed was sumptuous and we slept soundly. The bathroom had a whirlpool bath, tv and a spa- like feel.
I especially liked the rich feeling toweling robes. Yes we felt like royalty!

Breakfast was a treat with a buffet full of fresh fruits, juices, yoghurts, cereals and pastries, and then a hot menu that included the Ulster Fry!
Tip...don't over eat dinner so you can wake up hungry for breakfast !

The Park Avenue is a good base if you are driving on a visit to Belfast. It is modern, clean and comfortable with excellent breakfasts and convenient parking on site. The rooms are spacious and the staff friendly and helpful. Might be hard to get to on public transport though but we did not try.
