my stay in the park avenue was truely memorable. it was convienient to all the new titanic quarter has to offer and a perfect base operating out of belfast to all parts of n.i. The room was ultra modern, roomy with everything you could ask for, but the main good point was the food. An extensive menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner which was cooked to perfection with large portions and extras if required. I would truly reccommend this hotel

Room Tip: in the new extension

Smart looking Hotel both inside and out. Receptionists very pleasant and helpful. Rooms very clean and tidy with good sized digital TV, Tea/Coffee/Biscuits, Iron & ironing board and good hairdrier.

Breakfast and Evening Tea were both to very high standard and waitress staff very helpful.

Bus outside door every 30 minutes. All day ticket only £3.00. Taxi only £6.00 to city centre. Tesco express and cinema across street.

Room Tip: This was a standard room, but don't think a higher standard room could have been much better. T...

Expected a bit more having read the reviews before i arrived, but overall enjoyed the stay. as it was a sunday, bar and restaurant shut by 8pm. tv in bathroom didn't work because of digital switchover, which was i was told after calling reception and asking. when i ran a bath, it looked like it hasn't been rinsed after cleaning. view was an artificial hedge on top of a roof and a croassroad (don't take room 106). staff was polite and helpful. breakfast in bed arrived ok and was nice (if you want a hot breakfast, you need to mark it in other) and huge, comfy bed in executive double.

Room Tip: if you want any kind of view, ask for second floor room

Not good. Hotel is a good 5 minutes out of town by taxi (£7) and certainly not worthy of its 4 star rating. It's old and tired and certain parts have had a poor make over and gives the impression of trying too hard. We paid extra for an executive room which was hideously decorated in horrendous black and white wallpaper with pink and leopard print!!! We also expected a "luxury" bathroom which was very shoddy, stank of mould, shower constantly ran all night, jet bath didn't work properly and the extra touch of "luxury"... A tv in the bathroom...DIDNT WORK!!!!!! The dining room was like something out the 50's and the bar....!!!!

I would definitely not recommend this hotel and if you are visiting Belfast the fitzwilliam, benedicts,Hilton and premier inn are all right in the centre and would offer much better value for money. You also wouldn't need to rely on the rip off taxis and buses.

My partner and i were attending a concert in Belfast and we were looking for a wee one night stay which was easy to get to and from the venue. We booked an executive twin room and it was more than we could have imagined, lovely room with en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and step in shower also. Next morning Breakfast was served in the restaurant and service was excellent and all staff very friendly and helpful from moment we arrived. We would certainly recommend a stay at this marvellous hotel.

Room Tip: most rooms would be excellent

We have stayed 2 to 3 x a year at this hotel since the no smoking ban, (with a few times previously), and have found the location ideal for our needs. Close to the city airport, it is ideal for families, and business trips. Only a few minutes from the 'ring road', and motorway, giving access to all parts of Belfast, and easy motoring to the rest of the country.
The staff have always been very helpful, considerate, and friendly, and we've made a few friends over the years. The excellent all round full breakfast is included in the room price, so watch the waist line, and evening meals in the restaurant are best booked in advance, especially at weekends. (Downside is restaurant closes at 20.00hrs on sunday)
If planning to stay during the summer, and / or Christmas periods, best to book early.
Enjoy your stay.
