“Exceptional!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2010

Stayed one night for my sisters wedding, the wedding meal was flawless and I would like to thank all the staff for a brilliant night! The next day we had lunch in the bar which again was fantastic. We ended up staying for the majority of the day relaxing in the big armchairs in the lobby being attentitively served by Alan and Chris. It was a relaxing break and will be back again soon!

I stayed 4 nights a week at The Malone Lodge Hotel for 6 months and couldn't fault their customer service and attention to detail. I even got the same room every week at my request which doesn't happen in the majority of hotels. Within a couple of days I knew all the staff by name and it felt like coming home when I checked in on a Monday. I would recommend The Malone Lodge to anyone who is staying in Belfast and I look forward tostaying there again soon.

Booked in not knowing what to expect as first business visit to the city. We found the staff very courteous and very knowledgeable [with very adorable accents]. We chanced the hotel restaurant and had the most stunning steaks and side orders - completely unexpected for restaurant food and we highly recommend a visit. We were delighted with our stay, which makes a change from your typical anonymous hotel!

A really great team of people. Nothing was apparently too much trouble for them.
Charming and efficient, friendly but not presumptious.
I have been to many "top class" hotels charging 4x as much who could learn valuable lessons in guest care from this hotel.

We stayed in Malone Lodge hotel a few weeks ago rather than travel home by taxi after an event we were attending in Belfast. The room we had was a suite, across the road from the main hotel, literally just a 30 second walk. The bedroom and bathroom were contemporary in design and decor and very warm and cosy on a cold evening. There was an issue with no hot water coming out of the bath taps - although it was fine from the shower. We were offered another room but as it was not really a problem for us we decided just to stay in the room we had beeen given. Breakfast the next morning was good with a variety of choice. A very convenient hotel, close to belfast shopping and other venues. I would definitely stay again in the future.

The Malone was very nice on my first visit to Ireland from Philadelphia. The food was wonderful, the bar and service were exquisite, the hotel is very close to the park and museum which was a great way to spend three hours for free! Walk to the university, Belfast is a friendly place!

My friend who used to work in this hotel recommended it to me, and on his advice, i asked him to book me a nice room. I got a text back saying "booked you the best room in Belfast, room 615".
On arrival, i briefly parked outside, popped into reception and asked about parking. I was very well greeted and given directions to the complimentary parking at the rear of the hotel. On checking in, the reception staff were coversational and polite, nice clean reception with plenty of other guests having coffee, very relaxed atmosphere.
One of the managers then offered to show us to our room. We took our bags in hand and expected to be shown to the lift. Much to our surprise,we were shown out of the hotel and directly across the road!!
The manager explained to us how their "apartments" had been in use for the past 2 years and they were proving to be very popular with their regular guests.
Cleanliness from the front door, the lift, the corridoors, right to the room was second to none. Into the apartment, large double room, wardrobe with ironing board and good quality iron inside, large plasma screen wall mounted, nice dressing table and drawers, complimentary slippers, full length mirror on the wall. Large living room, again with large plasma screen, dining table and chairs, two comfortable couches with large cushions. Kitchen area as part of the main living room complete with fridge, stocked with complimentary mineral water and chocolate, washing machine with complimentary washing powder, sparkling clean gas cooker to use if we liked. Finally into the bathroom, fully loaded with double shower, jacuzzi bath and all other little products you would usually find in a quality establishment. A quality pad to use as you liked, comfortable to come and go as you please, or perfect if you wanted to bring friends or family over for a drink or dinner even. Cupboards stocked with cutlery, wine glasses, plates with washing up liqued provided.
Room was serviced each of the 3 days i stayed, even our glasses were washed and put away!!!!!!! Unbelievable service.
Running an hour behind our check out time on the final morning, i apologised to the receptionist, she could not have been more polite, she didnt mind at all, she was only interested if i enjoyed my stay!!
For all people in the hotel business, let this place be a good standard bearer, for all travellers, let this be the place to stay!!
Enjoy
