This was my second stay at the Europa Hotel and I was not disappointed. The hotel is beautifully decorated and kept spotlessly clean. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. The concierge parked the car for us and made dinner reservations in Paul Rankin's Cayenne restaurant located up further along the street. The room was spacious with a huge king size bed, the only thing missing was a mini bar but you could always go to the hotel bar. The location is excellent for shopping and exploring the city. There are two nice drinking establishments just across the street The Crown and Robinson's both worth a visit. Each time we visit Belfast we intend to stay at the Europa.

I stayed in this hotel as I was travelling up to Belfast. I arrived quite late, but the hotel was quite close to one of the stations and therefore was a quick walk away, when I arrived there was a person at the desk still although it was quite late.

I found the overall appearence of the hotel to be very good, there was a very entertaining pianist playing who added to a comfortable atmosphere. I was quite happy with the standard of cleanliness within the hotel.

My room was suitable for what I needed however it was slightly cramped in regards to space, but the bed was comfortable and the large television and music player were very nice. The room was very clean in my opinion and could not fault it in that respect.

I had little dealings with the staff, I made one request looking for an internet cafe, but they informed that there would not be one open at that time, I nevertheless made my own inspection as I went for a walk around and they were right. The staff appeared to be friendly. I found the breakfest in the morning to offer a wide range of different types of food, those of which I tried were very nice.

It seems to be in a nice location, The Belfast Grand Opera House was right beside it. If I could make a recommendation it would be to include free wi-fi connection throughout the hotel, which appears to be in Jurys Hotel, a short walk away, this would have been a nice bonus. Overall a nice hotel, which was very efficient

Having booked an Executive room and obtained written permission to smoke therein and having unpacked we requested an ashtray and were told we could not smoke in the room. We repacked and with our bathrobes and slippers over our arms walked through the hotel from the 6th floor to the 11th, directlly below a nosiy function room. On check out we paid the lower rate having been downgraded but no further discount was offered for our inconvenience. The reception staff are scruffy and aggressive.
