“Superb value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2011

Spent two nights £56 per night. The room was ideal, modern and clean. The service very good. I would definately book this hotel for any return trip. Atmosphere in the bar excellent with an impromptu pianist and flautist until the early hours. No contest at this price and a brilliant location.

Another fantastic stay at the Europa. Front of house staff were as usual excellent especially Andrew, Linda and Mary. Our disabled son was with us and they remembered him from our last stay and were delighted to see him again. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff. Our rooms were superb, spotless and quiet. The piano bar was wonderful to sit in on Saturday afternoon and listen to the charming pianist whilst having afternoon tea. The evening meal was delicious and we couldn't even finish our desserts we were so full after the main course. All in all a superb hotel, we can't wait to go back.

Didn't use a lot of the hotel services, but stayed here for 2 nights in July. Got an ok price for a room in a hotel tha looks more "luxurious" than it really is, but the rooms are nice, clean and the staff is very friendly. Nice parking service as well. Located 3 mins walk away from the Belfast city hall.

Never again! Rude obnoxious receptionists who seemed put out doing their job, lethargic waiting staff who seemed too lazy to be bothered and old-fashioned rooms that are crying out for re-vamp! Hen party central - say no more. Undesirables hanging around outside at night-time. Neither felt welcome or comfortable in this hotel. Much nicer for similar and cheaper rates in the vacinity.

Dear Angelaw,

I really do apologise for the shortcomings in service received from our Reception and Food & Beverage staff here in the hotel. This is certainly not reflective of our of normally very high standards throughout the hotel. Reception creates the first impression and are the main point of contact during your stay in the hotel. Our reception staff are normally buzzing with enthusiasm and willingness to help the guest in any way they can. I have addressed your concerns with the relevant teams to ensure that there are no further occurences. Having undergone a major refurbishment taking more than 6 years in completion, I thank you for your feedback and we are revamping where we first began.
With regards to the noise and the volume of traffic outside the hotel I do apologise but as we are downtown right in the heart of the city, this is to be expected.

I do hope you will reconsider and we can show you what we really can do.

Yours Sincerely

General Managers Office

18 People from 5 different countries and all agreed the hotel provided us with a great food selection, and were flexible to meet some members of the group, with food to suit their eating requirements. Accommodation was good and Staff very attentative to the needs of all. Bedrooms spacious and clean and good sound proofing. Three high speed lifts in operation to bedrooms. Reception personnel and staff in the restaurants were very attentive. A very busy hotel, but yet has a relaxing atmosphere both in the first floor lounge and coffee bar and reception area.

My daughter and I stayed in the Europa Hotel on a busy Saturday night, we stayed in the hotel for an evening meal as well. The food was delicious.
Our room was clean and well kept, and the special little touches were excellent.
the helpfulness of the staff and professional manor made our stay excellent and felt like we were the only people in the hotel The staff were fantastic. Friendly and professional, no request was too much for them.
All in all, we would go back tomorrow and this is largely due to the quality of the staff.
