If you're in Belfast why not take the opportunity to visit the romantic fairytale Belfast Castle?
Being a former wedding photographer for many years, this was one of my favourite locations, you couldn't go wrong with super backgrounds, the castle, gardens and views over Belfast.
There is also a lovely restaurant and antiques shop in the basement. The castle itself is situated in the grounds of Cavehill Country Park with great walks to the summit of Cave Hill, known as Ben Madigan in the Irish language - from here you will have panoramic views over Belfast, the lough and as far as the Isle of Man & Scotland on a clear day. Certainly well worth the exercise.

Beautiful well kept castle and grounds that you are free to wonder round. \there is an information centre on the top floor which will be of interest to chidren and adults alike, with not only explanations of the surrounding flora and fauna but a short history of the castle. Delightful coffee shop and restaurant in the original cellars

Great place to set a wedding or large party. Take you tourist guide. it has a stone cat around the grounds that my sister loved . Bar is so-so, Ambience #!

The grounds of the Belfast Castle are beautiful. The drive in to the castle is delightful making you anticipate your first view of the castle. Loved that you could just move through the grounds and castle at your leisure. We ate downstairs and the food and service were wonderful. The entree was served to you individually but the sides were servied family style to the table. There was a lot of food and it was delicious. Will definitely return the next time we visit.
