“Not only a hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

What a wonderful idea to have put a museum inside a hotel. It is to say that the museum is in the highest room of the highest tower of the castle (but not guarded by a dragon).

There are great paintings on the walls and the view is superb.

“Lunch & Dinner in great surroundings”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

Location excellent with views over Belfast Lough and just magical at night. I have been to Lunch, Dinner, Parties and Weddings and would highly recommend to anyone visiting N. Ireland.

“Visitors from South Carolina”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Having taken the visitors to the Titanic exhibition I thought it would be a good idea for them to have lunch at Belfast Castle.I am bound to say that whilst the setting is magnificient and the vistas marvellous particularly on a good day, the restaurant is quaint but small and the food was nothing to write home about.

“Belfast Castle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

I've seen only a few other castles in my travels. Belfast Castle on the morning I arrived for a half-day visit was like being inside of "Dark Shadows". The light fog was there. One can see hints of the coast line off from the castle grounds. The castle itself was small in comparison to even the Vlad Tempest Castle in Bran, Romania, but it was a good see. There is a small gift shop downstairs with a really quaint restaurant. On the Very upside of the castle, the restaurant served a HUGE meal. Well worth the money. Walking around inside the castle and around the grounds is free - no charge.
