“Wonderful Architecture”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 17, 2013

This is a really nice building, the inside is prettier. Did the free city hall tour and it was an amazing experience. Best part of the tour was going through the marble staircase as well as getting inside the robe rooms where there is an exhibit of the robes worn by their representative. Likewise getting inside the room where the assembly takes place is a nice treat. The dining room is opulent as well. A must see!

“Not just a beautiful building-lovely dining room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

To add that extra "something" visit "The Bobbin". It's the restaurant within this lovely building and is great for morning or afternoon coffee plus appetising lunches for small or large groups.

“Beautiful building”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

Great place for a quick tour when in the city centre. There is a small coffee shop but better coffee available in the coffee shops outside. Beautiful historic building and worth the walk through it.

“Interesting photo subject”

My husband spent lots of time here taking photos. It is a striking building and the location of the Christmas market.

“An important landmark with quirky, colourful surroundings.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

I hope the title doesn't give you the wrong impression, just that when I went there during the time of the 2012 London Olympics, there was several painted cows, a cinema-screen in the park, and the Olympic rings all in the outer area of the hall. I didn't go inside, or went on a guided tour as it was a stopover on the Globus tour before we headed off to get on the ship to Scotland. But all in all, I wished I got to see more of it, as it looks very good and historical. Maybe next time.
