this was a very interesting tour which we took with a black taxi, the driver was great and very informative
we were on a bus tour and this place was like another world. The place was dull and run down it needs a regeneration progect urgently
Historically very significant, but also a poignant reminder of just how divided Northern Ireland still is to this day...make sure you get a good taxi driver to truly appreciate everything.
Visit the Shankhill Road, it's a great place to see the murals on the walls and if possible speak to the local people. The place is steeped in history and the edivence is still there.
I thought it would be all very religion based but it is something you have to see if you go to Belfast...nice people and the artwork is amazing.
