Must visit and talk with folks on the street, in the shops to see how it was and how it is since the Good Friday Agreement.

“clean it up”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

This is an other horrible area of Belfast. People like to visit here to see the famous murals but that is all it has to offer. the rest of it has a rundown depressed, threating feel about it

“Bóthar na bhFál- a must see to understand Belfast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

The Falls Road, along with the Shankill Road, is a must see for any tourist in Belfast.
The road offers so much interesting history and is easily accessible from Belfast City Centre.
I would recommend any visitor to simply walk from the City Centre and on the way they can see the famous political murals, remembrance gardens, the Bobby Sands memorial and finally stop for a coffee in the famous Cultúrlann (Irish language centre).

“Great place for photographs.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

Falls road is worth a visit. Get out the car/taxi and take your photos. If you take a black taxi you will be much more informed about the "real facts" as the bus tour can only tell you so much without being too controversial. But also remember that the taxi driver will probably have a biased opinion. You can see the fences and the iron gates that are still in use.
