I visited this place on a Saturday, on the way back from the Titanic museum. The arena and the W5 was closed, but the food court area (The Pavilion) was open.
Absolutely miserable food choices - a cafe, Pizza Hut, Soda Joe's an Indian restaurant, a bowling alley, and a Tapas restaurant (closed). The Pizza Hut and the Soda Joe's had a surprisingly long line, and the bowling alley offered pretty much burgers, fries and pizza. There is also a very sad looking sports bar.
Also, I don't know if the shops are in a different area, but there were no stores anywhere to be seen.
This was rather disappointing, as the Titanic museum is far from the city center, and The Odyssey was the closest place we knew of to find something to eat. It was just a one day trip from Belfast, and we ended up buying sandwiches at the train station to eat on our way back to Dublin.
