We passed the Harlem as we had intended eating in a good oldfashioned Irish pub, but then decided that the Harlem seemed so unusual we had to eat there. Luckily we got a table as many were turned away.
The decor is unusual to say the least. Tables and chairs are a lovely mismash and the walls are covered in the most odd mix of prints, photos, etc. But somehow it all works. Tables had candles in overthetop holders and the wine coolers were enormous.
Staff were friendly and took care of our order tho we did have to wait a little.
The food was good and reasonably priced (compared to some meals we had on our trip), also the wine was not overly expensive.
Suggest if you want an unusual restaurant to eat in, go to the Harlem.
