Owner description: Titanic's Dock and Pump-House is the world's only authentic Titanic landmark. It is the last place Titanic rested on dry ground, and is her physical footprint in history. Visitors can experience life in 1912 by descending 44 feet into the colossal dry dock and walk in the footsteps of the men who worked in the shipyard a century ago. Experience the engineering behind the legendary pump-house, which still houses the original pumping engines, situated deep in the pump-well. The Pump-House also includes a visitor center and cafe, where you can relax and enjoy hot and cold snacks, refreshments, free wi-fi, or even pick up a souvenir or two from our Titanic gift shop. An inspiring and thought-provoking experience awaits you!

“Even the kids loved it ....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much ... but was VERY pleasantly surprised! We took our two kids (one Titanic-obsessed 5 year old boy, and one 4 year old girl), and both of them thoroughly enjoyed it. Out tour guide was very informative and spoke so everyone could understand, from children, to adults, to tourists, to locals. The highlight is going down the metal staircase into the huge dry dock (all completely safe - just don't wear stilletos!). The Pump House is fascinating and the engineering genuis of it's time remains impressive.
We arrived for the first tour at 12 pm on a Sunday (get a take-away coffee from the cafe and bring it with you to keep warm) and were leaving again just before 2 pm. All in all, a wonderful morning. Take your camera and enjoy!

“A brilliant step back in time.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 2, 2013

Only 10-15 minute walk from Titanic Belfast it is a must to if you want to get an insight into the size and scale of where Titanic rested whilst being furnished before setting off on her fateful maiden voyage. A visit here will give an insightful look into how in was possible to get Titanic to rest such a a dry dock which was no easy feat. Finish the visit off with a walk to and into the dry dock itself. Its enormity is startling and brings home to you just how enormous Titanic must have been. I would defintely recommend a visit.

“titanic dock and pump house”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 27, 2013

Best morning iv'e spent in a long time. Had very good tour guide, fasinating information. Much more interesting than the Titanic monstrosity up the road. Had a chat with the manager of the place, he was so passionate about everything, and really cared about how it was run. brilliant time had by all.
