Myself and my partner availed of an offer voucher from LivingSocial for Lunch - 2 mains with a glass of wine/beer/soft drink. We rang on a Saturday and booked for 30 minutes later as we were already in town.
On arrival we were shown to our table, our drinks order was taken, and the waitress brought down a chilled bottle of water for the table. The restaurant wasnt busy so service was prompt and friendly. We opted for 2 glasses of wine, the house red and white, both were nice, although the white could have been chilled a little more.
We ordered the Steak Sandwich and the 8oz burger from the lunch menu. I opted against the blue cheese option and picked from two salsas that the steak sandwich and the burger came with, and my girlfriend picked the other salsa option.
The food arrived after a short wait. Each main was visually inpressive - the steak sandwich served in a large ciabatta, and the burger in a toasted bun with lettuce and tomatoes. Both salsas looked similar, although I did not try my girlfriends. My salsa was nice, if a little ordinary. Mains came with chunky chips, and a side salad of dressed leaves, onions and olives. The steak in my girlfriends sandwich was requested rare, and came as ordered. Unlike some places where a steak sandwich is pieces fried up, I was happy to see the steak as one piece. My burger was delicious, had a nice grilled flavour to it.
After the meal we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee, and we declined. Though when we requested the bill we were told we didnt need one as the voucher covered what we had ate/drank (bottle of water was free), though we did catch the waitress on the way out to give a tip.
Overall good experience, pleasant staff, nice atmosphere, good food, which outside of having the voucher would have been happy to pay full price for (under £10 for each meal).
