After reading the excellent reviews on T A for this restaurant we decided to give it a try.We went in on passing on the Friday 20th Sept at 9pm to try and book for Sat 21st but it was fully booked. However on asking if they could fit us in there and then bearing in mind the restaurant was really busy the waitress was so friendly and pleasant said to take a seat for 10 mins and she would try and fit us in. Within 5 minutes we were seated at a nice table and attended to very quickly.
The food was as good as we had expected including seared scallops with black pudding and choritzo starter, two main courses were pan fried chicken and smoked haddock with parma ham.
The waitress and waiter who served us were very efficient and friendly and there was a nice atmosphere in the place. Wine etc. was reasonably priced so all in all we had a lovely evening.
I would definitely choose the Ginger Bistro to dine in on our next visit to Belfast.
