Northern Ireland is such a beautiful and untouched place to visit, and Number 11 Townhouse proved to be a wonderful home base for our explorations. There are great transport links to and from this house – both public transport as well as the M1, which meant that almost anything and everything was within reach! Marks and Spencer on Lisburn Road is also within walking distance (if only I’d seen the shopping trolley that Christine provided before I left!  ).

The accommodation itself is very clean and well presented. As there were only three of us, only the king size bed and one of the singles was made up. It’s great to walk into accommodation and feel as though things have been arranged and made especially for you. Having the master bedroom on the first floor and the doubles on the second floor gave everyone their own space. I think this would still be the case with a full compliment of six guests. The shower in the bathroom is AMAZING! Great water pressure and nice and hot! And so much space in the bathroom!

Living room is also spacious, I think we each took it in turns to fall asleep on the comfortable couches in front of the TV. Nice and warm and cosy.

If you’re visiting from outside of Ireland, I’d perhaps suggest hiring a car. The transport links are great, but a car makes it a little easier, and opens up the whole of Northern Ireland

Christine is lovely and we all felt very welcome, like old friends. As we didn’t have our own transport on the first day, Christine offered to get us some groceries, which really is going the extra mile.

I would definitely recommend Number 11 Townhouse to anyone looking to stay in Belfast and visit Northern Ireland.

Stayed at number 8 with 5 friends for a birthday weekend. The accommodation was great, Christine was very informative about the surrounding area and getting around. There was more than enough space for 6 women roaming around and the 2 bathrooms really helped when we were all getting ready for a night out. Would be more than happy to use again.

Went to Belfast with 4 friends for a wedding. Stayed at Number 11 for 4 nights and cannot fault it. Christine (the owner) had bought food in for us that was there when we arrived. Everything was in the house that you would need to enjoy your stay. Guide maps, info about events and ithe place was spotless. Belfast was lovely with some of the most friendly people I have met. Will be returning.

11 Townhouse was a great find. I stayed there recently with 5 friends. The house is in a great location, within walking distance of Lisburn Rd and there is a bus stop close by where you can get a bus into the city centre.
The house itself is big and bright, all the bedrooms are a good size and the beds are very comfortable.
There is a nice big kitchen, with a dishwasher and all the other mod cons you'd expect.
There are patio doors in the kitchen that open onto a wee patio.
Christine made us feel very welcome and even offered to get groceries in for our arrival.
A great place to stay, I think we'll be back!
