This was by far the best dining experience of our long weekend in Belfast. The restaurant is small so tables are a little too close together. As the restaurant was full it was rather noisy. The waiting staff were lovely if a little forgetful. The food though was wonderful so these little niggles were quickly forgotten about. We went for the Sunday lunch at 7pm! 3 course for £24.95 - outstanding value. The restaurant provides complimentary home made bread and butter while you wait for your meal. The celeriac soup with truffle oil was very good but the goat cheese with carrot jam, pears and figs was wonderful. For mains we went for the cod with saffron and chorizo risotto and the chicken with cep cream and truffled and Parmesan macaroni. Both were wonderful but the chicken had the edge. Both came with mashed potato and a selection of vegetables. Desserts of sticky toffee pudding and rhubarb crumble rounded off the meal beautifully. Will definitely return to this restaurant for its superior food.
