“Excellent restaurant! Would definitely recommend this place! ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2014

Visited this restaurant on Saturday as a party of six. We had pre booked a table for 6.30pm, when we entered the restaurant was busy but this did not affect the service we received. Service was excellent we were seated quickly and a waiter promptly came and took our order. Wide selection to choose from on the menu. Food was delicious, prices for both food and drink extremely reasonable. Food & drinks enjoyed by all of our party and it is most definitely a place we would return to !!

“Don't skip the starters!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

Panshee is perfectly located for a pre show meal for the Grand theatre. We booked in advance. Prices are very reasonable, considering the quality of food is so very good. The portions of food are indeed generous. It is without doubt excellent value for money. The ambience of the restaurant . The service from the restaurant’s team was attentive, but not overbearing. It was a perfect early evening meal. My partner and I enjoyed the starter platter, which was delicately and freshly cooked. I followed with the Chicken Nehari, which was generous although a little on the mild side. We had a small selection of various pilau rices, again each cooked perfectly, as were the Naans .The Cucumber raitha and vegetable curry accompanied the main dish well. Also I was pleased with the bottled Bangla lager. It’s not as gassy as your normal “Asian” lagers, (always a welcome addition to the drinks menu.) Do not be put off by the selection of “English” dishes on the menu! (I do wish indian restaurants didn’t feel the need to add such a selection). Finally, if I am Swansea again I would certainly visit the Panshee again.

“Asian Delights !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 3, 2014

Our friends had earmarked this restaurant to have an early evening meal. What a choice! Although quiet at that time of the evening, we were a party of 8. No problem! We can only say that the experience at this restaurant met very high standards in ambiance, décor, cleanliness, quality food and above all quality of service. Faultless meal enjoyed by us all. Ideal for Theatre goers in Swansea.

“An unexpected portion of excellence”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2014

What a brilliant discovery, a chance encounter with the Panshee in Swansea made we wishing we had more than couple of days in the city. Clean and tastefully attired with some of the most attentive and friendly staff, things started out well as soon as we walked in the door.

Expectations continued to be better than met as the evening progressed and the service proved to to as good as anywhere I've eaten, including some big-name restaurants in Europe, no fawning as can be a trait in restaurants promising food from Asia, but polite and watchful, not pompous and overbearing but just perfect.

Best of all though was the food, no deep frozen fare from the can and carry but well spiced, beautifully construction and prepared starters, generous proportions beautifully cooked, no swimming in ghee here. The side dishes of papadum, raita, pickles and onion likewise understated, fresh and thoroughly delicious, a well-thought out pre-starter welcome to the meal to follow.

One of the particularly satisfying aspects of their menu, which includes most of the more common tandoor and curry based fare was that the fish dishes on offer were more akin to that encountered in very expensive and pretentious restaurants in International capitals, most unlike the usual supermarket curry over-cooked in months old curry base sauce,

Delicate and perfectly cooked a deserved with a superb balance of spice and seasoning, these fish main courses are well worth trying, my Fish Fry Tawa (tilapia fish) was a masterpiece of flavour and texture absolutely wonderful.

The rest of our party of eight enjoyed just about every type of starter and main course, from Onion Bhajias to Murgh Jal-frezii, Balti Mix Massala, Ghust Tikka Biryani and Shobi Biryani.

All in all a superb meal at a reasonable price, I can thoroughly recommend a vist.
