“lovely beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2014

It's a long beach that stretches a few miles. a sandy beach with almost no rocks. Good place to spend your time on a nice sunny day. We took a rest on the stairs and enjoyed the view and the sun. From the beach you can walk all the way to Mumbles. I'm not sure but I think it's around 1 1/2 hour walking to mumbles.

“It's not too bad...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2014

It's not too bad to visit a couple of times for a walk on the beach, but nothing too exciting. You better off going to Mumbles, which is just down the road!

“Pretty Basic Beach”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

There isn't much to say about this beach. It is difficult to walk the water's edge at low tide in certain areas because you just sink into the wet sand (unlike other beaches with courser sand). If you carefully pick your path, you will be ok most of the time.

The pollution is quite disturbing (as in "garbage"). Much of it looks like it has washed ashore, as opposed to being discarded trash by locals.

The views are... ok. Mumbles to the right is better seen up close. The steel mill (or whatever it is) on the left is not so appealing. You can sometimes see clear across the channel. The condos/apartments at the edge of the beach look quite nice.
