“quaint and cosy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013

Me and some freinds stayed here for a night in september after a football match at swansea, it was clean and well maintained, very helpful staff, really nice breakfast, the beds are really comfy and I slept like a log.

The only minor problem was that the bathroom was a bit cramped but all in all was a simply wonderful stay would recommend this place to other people.

Room Tip: All very similar interior and same noise level (if any) so not really any difference i don't thi...

This place was clean and very pleasant. I had a single room which was small but nice and clean......only problem was that if I had been any fatter i would not have been able to get into the shower of get on the toilet for that matter!!!!!!! The room was so quiet during the night - I managed to get a really good nights sleep. Breakfast was incredible...the really go to town and all freshly cooked. I will stay here again.

We stayed here for one night whilst taking my daughter to view Swansea University. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we could have left our bags if we needed to.The hotel was warm and clean. The breakfast was lovely - fresh cooked while we waited and the food was good. The location is handy for buses into the city ( £1.05 single fare ). We took a taxi to the Uni - cost £4. Will use this place again if our daughter ends up in Swansea and would recommend to others.

Stayed for 3 nights mid Sept in 4 single rooms for our annual golf trip. Room rate very reasonable, excellent and varied breakfast. The owner gave several tips re eating out. The Anarkali for a curry was very good, The Brasserie has best steaks in the UK, though the vietnamese up the road was a tad disappointing ( more Chinese take away). Golf in the area is varied and good - esp Ashburnham and Clyne, both available on deals.

Just back from staying four days golfing nights centred around Swansea. Based ourselves at the White House in Swansea. Very friendly welcome, fabulous breakfasts, comfortable and warm rooms. Good prices with excellent advice regarding local facilities. Much appreciated guys, thank you.

Small guest house/hotel with friendly management. Room clean and comfortable. Street parking available but very limited. Included breakfast was plentiful and well prepared. Went to the local pub to find meals not served. They recommended The Gower Kitchen which was walking distance from the hotel and served restaurant qulity meals.

Room Tip: If opportunity exists request a room away from the front as traffic noise can be an issue at peak pe...

Have stayed at White House a number of times. Had not stayed since last year. But rang door bell and was welcomed by Kamel. Steve was on reception he welcomed me gave me my key. Kamal carried my case and showed me to my room. Good room nice comfy bed and pillows. Good power shower. Tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits put in room. Bottle water and local newspaper provided daily. Included breakfast good choice of fresh fruit, cereals and cooked british breakfast or and any combination. Steve and Kamel are friendly and helpful and always make me feel welcome. Would recommend to anyone looking forward to next stay.
