“Excellent clean comfortable and friendly service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 5, 2013

This B&B hotel is first class with a choice of breakfast and clean comfortable rooms you would be hard pressed to better it. Highly recommended.

The owners are justifiably proud of their establishnent and take great care to ensure that their Customers needs are met

Stayed for three nights at this fantastic hotel. We were a group of four and had booked two rooms for the three nights. Both rooms were spot-on.We had no complaints whatsoever. The rooms were extremely clean, very comfortable beds,tv,toiletries, teas, coffees, hot chocolate, sweets and even a free daily local newspaper.Breakfasts were delicious with a huge variety and choice and also changed to suit individual needs e.g. scrambled egg instead of fried egg etc.The hotel's rate is very reasonable and it is also very conveniently situated for the town centre. It took us about a quarter of an hour to walk to town but there are plenty of taxis passing by and also buses pass by at a very regular basis.I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone-Swansea is well worth a visit and especially the huge indoor market.Thank you the White house hotel for such a pleasant stay-Diolch yn fawr.

Two nights there recently. Could not fault anything about the hotel. Very friendly welcome, excellent breakfast included in the very reasonable price and great attention to detail, e.g. little chocolates on your bed each day, high quality toiletries, free newspaper and Wifi. Nothing too much trouble and would definitely stay there again. Only slight issue is that there is no car park and you are reliant on the availability of on-street parking in narrow side streets which may be a but difficult during peak times. But that is not the hotels fault and they do their best to guide yoiu to likely parking spots.

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 4 on the first floor, a family room which is a little small but where great care h...

Found this place on trip adviser as we were traveling. Met all of our expectations. Quaint, comfortable, clean and very friendly owner and staff. Excellent breakfast. Ate at a nearby outstanding restaurant.

If we are ever back in Swansea we would want to stay here.

The White house went the extra Mile. It has reasonable prices, the service is excellent. I even had a mint left on my pillow, Rooms were clean, warm and well maintained. There was a wide choice for breakfast, and nothing seemed to much for them. I would stay in The white house anytime.

Room Tip: Have clicked on fitness by mistake the hotel does not have fitness centre or pool. Hotel in very goo...

This hotel/b&B is great, we have stayed there about 4 times, the team running the whte house are very friendly, and the rooms are clean and fresh. We stayed in room seven which is right up in the roof, no probelms with getting up the stairs, but some may find it more difficult, so check first, the breakfasts are really nice, my 18 year old son came with us, and he can eat for england :) the Welsh Breafast filled him up.

I travel to Swansea regularly on business and usually stay in one of the larger chain hotels on the outskirts of the City but thought I would try something different and what a revelation it was. The hotel is situated in the Uplands area of Swansea which has some really nice Wine bars and restaurants just around the corner from the hotel. When I arrived at the hotel I had a very warm greeting from the Owners and a speedy check in. The hotel's lounge and reception are very well kept and furnished to a very high standard with a combination of antique and modern furnishings. My room was immaculately clean with all the little extras you could wish for like tea/coffee, biscuits, sweets, bottled water, local newspaper even hot chocolate. The bathroom although compact was perfectly adequate with a very generous double sized shower which was great for me as I'm not the smallest. There was also a great range of quality toiletries supplied including cotton buds and shoe shine.
Breakfast was excellent with a huge range of buffet items and large selection of hot items to choose from the menu, I chose the haddock with poached eggs which was excellent and came with a selection of mixed toast.
All in all a very enjoyable stay and I will most certainly be staying again
