“Cbeebies tickets”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2013

I went to the cia in April to see cbeebies show we bought tickets in the disabled area which were fab having two disabled kid and 5 fully able kid we had great seats for the wheel chair and we were all able to sit together brilliant. I saw that cbeebies were coming back to the cia great, went to get tickets to be told we could not go in to the disabled area because we would take to much room up then offered the most expensive tickets for the show £29 each coze we have a wheel chair we could only have the seat s at the front. The staff are very rude the ticket office manager is so rude and unpleasant and refused me to speak to the arena manager would not even give me his name or number.thank you for all tge upset to me and my family this place is rubbish.

“great venue for concerts :D”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

I've been here 3 times to see concerts like JLS,Olly Murs and One Direction.Inside it is quite big, but it can get a bit stuffy when the main acts come on because everyone is jumping up and down.It has not got the best toilet facility. The food and drink is quite expensive. It is very easy to find and easy to get to.Has loads of places where you can park.Loads of taxis outside when the concerts are over. The security is quite strict by not letting big cameras in,they might take them off you when you go in and then you have to collect them when you leave the venue.Overall good place to go to see a concert in Wales.

“A necessary evil.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2013

An awful place with awful facilities, massivley uncomfotable seating, officious security and awful food... but a necessary evil if you want to see some of the bigger touring acts in the UK.

“It's big and cavernous”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2013

I've been to a few concerts here and seen a few comedians. It's easy to get to and easy parking. It's a good venue but lacks a little atmosphere and refreshments are very expensive!

“Comapct Arena Venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013

We saw Mrs Brown's Boys at the arena, and having seen the previous tour at the Empire in Liverpool which is a traditional theatre, we thought that the show would be swallowed up by an arena venue. The Cardiff Motorpoint is however a nice compact venue unlike some of the purpose built modern arenas. We were admittedly near the front, but even at the back it wasn't too far away. The only issue was that the chairs were tightly packed on the floor level so getting in and out during events may not be advised. It is centrally located for parking, station, shopping and restaurants.
