So much to do on a Bank Holiday, boat trips, carousel rides, a craft fair. Excellent places to eat and drink, 2 of my favourites are the light ship, really reasonable food and drink prices on a floating lightship, so novel. And the Norwegian Church, really light and spacious downstairs and a art gallery upstairs. A new feature is the Doctor Who Experience, and nearby are the BBC Studios where it is filmed. A 1 3/4 mile walk to the Barrage or bikes can be hired, on the way is an interesting exhibit about coal and mining, with 2 large pieces of coal and a cart, a bit further round is the Captain Scott's Exhibition charting the ill fated 1910 - 13 British Antarctic (Terra Nova) Expedition . Across the barrage is Penarth Harbour, from here you can walk around the Bay in a circle. Great few hours
