Attended a wedding on the 5th May and was glad it turned out to be a lovely sunny day so we could sit outside and enjoy the outstanding views as it's such a lovely place in a lovely setting.
Downside was the food, soup Leek and Potato was tasty and hot, beef very tender but the veg was poor, the cauliflower looked burnt and had an awful smell to it, peas tasteless, carrots nice, yorkshire pud and roast potatoes like rocks, in fact one lady on our table tried to cut her potato but couldn't and she splattered herself, her husband and another guest in gravy! Dessert was nice but such a shame about the main course, especially for such an important occasion. Also the room in which the meal was served in was quite cramped, so maybe they need to limit the numbers of guests they can actually fit in there.
Plus side, staff friendly and helpful and again a lovely venue, very clean and toilets spotless! (well the ladies was, not sure about the gents!!!).

Thank you for your review and your positive comments towards the hotel. We are sorry that the food didn't meet your expectations this time. I have to say we didn't have any other negative comments regarding this. It is a shame you didn't feel the need to say anything to us at the time and instead you wrote on a review site without giving us a chance to remedy the situation on the day. I'm sure next time you come to the manor you will have a more pleasurable experience.
