“Better then Niagra.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

A tough walk from the carpark at Cym Porth, which has toilet facilities.( £4 to park). Walking over boulders and tree roots meant the two mile walk to the waterfall took 75 minutes. However it was worth every minute, following the charming rivers and the final descent to the wonderful waterfall at
Sgwd yr Eira. To stand behind the falls hearing the roar of the water and viewing the picturesque river valley through the water was a magical experience. Last time we did that was at the over commercialised Niagra Falls. This was as nature intended.

“Magical Walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

With lots of stops along the route of this beautiful riverside walk, it took us about two hours to reach the waterfalls of Sgwd yr Eira. It was well worth it. The walk itself was just perfect. we saw Dippers and lots of other interesting birds. The falls themselves are very special. You can walk behind them without really getting wet on a fine day. I cannot recommend this unforgettable walk enough.

“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

If you are visiting the Brecon Beacons, do not miss this lovely walk. A scenic walk along through a gorge with some lovely waterfalls. Fairly easy walking although there are some rocky paths and narrow ledges. Not suitable for all. Helpful visitors centre too.

“Beautiful scenery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

The falls were stunning. It was a long walk from the carpark at Cwm Porth to the waterfalls, but the time and effort it took to get there was definately worth it. There was lots of ups and downs and plenty of uneven ground (and 170 steps at the end down to the waterfall) We only managed to visit one waterfall as we were limited on time, but we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

“Simply beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 6, 2013

This was a lovely long walk, which our 10 year old son managed perfectly as well. We went with my late husband as he was very into his photography. This walk is a must for everyone, some of our most treasured photo's were taken on this walk. It holds fantastic memories for us.
