“Amazing Art exhibitions”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 14, 2013

Superb art gallery on the second floor - range of local artists every month - very supportive of the area. Excellent standard and relaxed atmosphere.

“Good asset to Brecon”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

A lovely theatre with very mixed productions to suit most tastes. Our last visit was some unusual jazz and was very poorly supported. A shame as this is such a vibrate theatre and the volunteer staff are so helpful and friendly. Easy to get to, good parking very close to the venue and a pleasant restaurant on the ground floor and a happy bar on the first floor. Most of the local theatre groups productions should never be missed

“Brecknock Society annual lecture”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

Good for the lecture; but very poor selection of drama. More touring plays desperately needed. When the theatre was in the Guildhall there were plenty of plays. Now we have a theatre but v. little drama. Would be excellent to have e.g. the wonderful Shakespeare productions from the Tobacco Factory in Bristol. They are now touring; they use virtually no scenery to be transported. We went to Bristol this week to see Richard III and to Cardiff to see Theatr Clwyd's `Rape of the Fair Country'. Theatr Clwyd from Mold used to include Brecon in their tours.

“Great Venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

Went to see Hazel o connor on 03rd of November and had never been to venue before. Very easy to get to and parking was right outside.
The venue itself was excellent and the sound good.
It felt very personnel in there and there wasnt a scrum to get a pint (or as i was driving a cuppa coffee). Staff were extremely helpfull.
Got caught in a snow storm coming back towards Merthyr but I cant blame the weather on Brecon as we are in Wales.
Will definately keep an eye on whats on as enjoyed my 1st and not my last visit.
