“first time holiday in a carvan will definitely be returning”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

This was my first ever time on holiday in a caravan and we went to Plassey as a friend of mine recommended it. Im glad he did. The site was clean, well presented, well equipped and the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and polite.

We stayed just a couple of nights but enjoyed every minute would happily return hopefully for longer next time, I recommend this site to all and sundry be you inexperienced caravanners like myself or an old hand at it there is something for everyone.

My wife and I can honestly say The Plassey is the very best site we have stayed on in the years we have spent touring. Upon arrival you are greeted by staff with a warm and welcoming smile, and the first impression is that this site is immaculately clean and tidy and kept to a very high standard. Our deluxe super pitch is of excellent size, much larger than expected complete with mains electric, mains water and water waste, TV and satellite connections and pitch lighting. Facilities such as toilets and shower blocks are again modern and immaculately clean regardless of the time used, which is a credit to the owners and staff. Throughout the site you will appreciate all the green space, flower beds, shrubs, hanging baskets, no dropped litter all very relaxing and creating that quality holiday experience. Kids will love the play and games area, small indoor warm swimming pool has a small cost but well worth it. Adjoining craft centre offering a range of unique gifts and clothing, local blacksmith and garden centre plus a coffee shop and restaurant offering good service at sensible prices. Fancy a game of golf, don’t worry if you haven’t remembered your club you can hire a set + clothing and shoes at The Plassey Golf Club complete with clubhouse & yes another restaurant to relax in. All in all this is a great place just to relax and chill out in fantastic countryside with excellent facilities at a very good price compared to other sites we have stayed on. Highly recommended - Can’t wait for our next visit.

We stayed here for 4 nights just after Easter, and it was just lovely. The setting was amazing surrounded by fields and woodland and so easy to get to, just south of Wrexham. We stopped on one of the fully serviced pitches by the golf course and as I've already said, it was the best site and pitch we've ever been on. The pitch was completely level, had privacy panels between the pitches and was planted with small pretty shrubs. The site grounds, toilet/shower block and dish washing facilities were spotlessly clean and kept in very good order and the staff were a plenty and clearly visible both day and night. Nothing was too much trouble, everywhere we went from the pool, reception, coffee shop, golf club/restaurant, the shops in the craft/retail centre and the main restaurant everyone was very helpful and friendly. Yes, it was more expensive than other sites we've stopped on, but it was more than worth it. Not getting woken at 1am with people walking back from the club was brilliant - - as it's not that kind of site !!!
