Lovely stay.Clean and comfortable. Plenty of room in the room. I will stay there again. There are lots of beautiful places to visit like Horseshoe pass and Llangollen. Chester is not far away very pretty.

We (a group of 3 friends) stayed at this travelodge for a convention happening in Wrexham, we booked a family room for 3 people and to be honest we were expecting to get a double bed and 1 single pull out, but instead we got 2 pull out single beds along with the double, so that was great. the room was clean and tidy, the tv worked great, and we had ample tea & coffee making stuff. The shower was very powerful. although there was a starbucks & subway next door, we wanted something more substantial to eat,the lady on reception recommended which area in the town to go towards and called us a taxi. she also told us how much to expect to pay for the taxi and to not let them take advantage of us! She was lovely and chatty and a credit to the travelodge. the reception area of the hotel also had a vending machine for snacks and a large folder with menus & leaflets of surrounding restaurants and attractions as well as local maps - all very useful. The only negative about the stay was that despite paying a bit more in order to be able to cancel the room up to 24 hours in advance, travelodge charge your card immediately. Would definitely stay again for similar trips.

I stayed at Wrexham Travelodge for the Wales Comic Con, we found it to be a great close location not far from Chester Zoo (where we went on Saturday) and Wrexham University (where the convention was on Sunday). The roads were easy and clearly marked.

The one down side is there are no restaurants close by though there is a Starbucks and Subway for quick snacks/drinks.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the night receptionist had put all the Christmas decorations up overnight which gave the place a very festive look.

Stayed for just one night during a busy time for hotel bookings and paid £66 for a family room which was very good value. They had two extra pull out beds alongside the double bed and it was fine, still lots of room. The room was clean and well-serviced and the receptionist was very helpful in getting us a taxi to the town centre and advising us how much it should be. There isn't a dining room but they do breakfast 'boxes' which didn't look that appetising. However there is a Subway and a Starbucks next door and the town centre is a £5 taxi away.

Room Tip: They will make up a family room if you request it

This was our first stay in a Travelodge with our older dog - ideal accommodation with ground floor rooms. The room smelt lovely and fresh on entry with colour co-ordinated decoration. The bed was one of the best we have slept in and the shower - a very good make - was superb. The staff were most helpful, welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

After our last travleodge experience I was a little worried, however this was a great find. Really well placed if you want to visit the tourist attractions in North Wales, has a petrol station with a spa, a subway and starbucks, great if you arrive a little hungry. Overall a great stay.
