I Have stayed in many B&B's in Betws-y-Coed over the years and i must say that this is one of the best. Everything was spotless and looked brand new. Nice location a short walk from the town centre with fantastic views of the valley. Tracey and Stefan were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be going again in the future.

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at Maes-y-Garth in Betws-y-Coed. We were greeted by Tracey who is very friendly and welcoming. We were shown to room 3 which was a very generous, modern family room, with a super king and a proper sized single for our 9 year old, not one off those put up things that some places would offer for children. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh with good quality furnishings. The beds were very comfortable with nice fresh linen. We couldn't wait to get back into them! At the end of the day we would return and find everything replenished, even the chocolates and biscuits which made our sons day!
Attention to detail is of high priority for Tracey and Stefan and they work hard to ensure you are happy. The quality of breakfast was second to none, plenty of choice and a perfect poached egg every time.
Tracey and Stefan are knowledgeable of the area, where to eat, what to see and were more informative than the Tourist Information Centre when we needed advice on which routes to get to the summit of Snowdon.
The B&B is in a great, quiet location, and the 5 min walk into town across the suspension bridge is a treat. It's easy to see why Maes-y-Garth has a 5* rating and we look forward to returning. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay.

Room Tip: Room 3, which slept 2 adults and a 9 year old is a very spacious family room.

The best B & B we've stayed in. Room 5 amazing! Tracey and Stefan such lovely people. Always had time to talk and give info on local area. The walk into the town was lovely across the suspension bridge. Have to go to the ugly house for amazing cream teas. Anglesey is absolutely beautiful, the beaches are paradise! Thanks to Tracey and Stefan for the ultimate base in which to explore this lovely part of Wales.

The hosts, Tracey and Stefan were always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their knowledge of the area was particularly useful to us. Excellent traditional breakfast, porridge, cereals, fruit and yoghurt, etc. Room was bright, very clean and comfortable. Well stocked hot beverage tray, particularly liked choice of hot chocolate, Horlicks along with traditional tea and coffee, and biscuits and chocolate, full re-stocked daily. Thanks Tracey and Stefan for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful B&B, very clean, modern, first class facilities. Amazing views from the dining room and our room, which had french doors onto the balcony. Bed very comfortable and room very quiet, breakfast delicious.
A warm welcome awaits you from Tracy and Stefan and we will definitely try to get back next year.

Room Tip: Best room has a balcony overlooking the lovely valley.

Far superior to any Premier Inn!
Breakfast is superb, available 8-9am, cereal/fruit/cooked as little or a bit of everything if you like. Convenient to wake up, wash, dress, and walk straight out room into breakfast dining area and have a good friendly chat with Tracey and Stefan and a good laugh with other guests.
Bedrooms and ensuite spotlessly clean. Rooms are very quiet.
Convenient 10 min short walk from Betws-y-Coed, passing by it's own railway musuem and model shop on the way. The place is good location to stay if driving 30 mins to Llanberis for Mount Snowdon and 40 mins to Portmadog for Ffestiniog/Welsh Highlands Railways.
Packed lunch options are available by ordering the day before, which is convenient if catching the trains with little time to shop.

Thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Maes-y-garth in Betws y coed... accommodation perfect in every way, truly 5*.. breakfasts offered flexible choices and were always piping hot!.. location was away from main street but easily accessible via footpath and 1930s suspension bridge which was great to witness!! Tracy and Stefan make you feel really at home and have plenty of local knowledge keeping you well informed of worthy places to visit and eat at! Wouldn't hesitate to return...
