Description: Conwy Falls Cafe is a beautiful purpose-built cafe set in 9 1/2 acres of SSSI native forest, with the spectacular back drop of the waterfall running through the River Conwy in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. Designed in the 30s by Clough Williams-Ellis, the cafe is a classic example of his design, and with its excellent car parking space, provides a perfect stop off at the gateway to Snowdonia.

“Brilliant food, friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

We stopped here for some breakfast before our Go Below Adventure. The staff were friendly, the service efficient, and the food was brilliant - Eggs Benedict was the best I have ever had - proper ham, lots of it, very tasty. The kids breakfasts went down a treat and they wanted to come back for tea as well!

“Very helpful owner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2014

Had lunch here on a Thursday. Great coffee, pleasant surroundings and good food. The burger came in a brown possibly home-made bun, much nicer than standard white burger buns. Tons of chips. The owner was very nice, and very helpful - my husband was having problems sending an email for work (they have wifi) and he was very keen to sort it out for us, checking the router etc. It's a nice walk to see the waterfall.

“food heaven”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 8, 2014

there are only two evenings that they are open, this needs to be extended, and the limited gourmet part of the menu was limited to a few dishes which were well cooked and flavoured. If the chef could extend his range, with his skills he would be onto a winner

“Friendly, informal, and great grub!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Located in a beautiful location (we sat out on the rear terrace on a beautifully sunny evening), the staff is friendly and the service attentive without being over-bearing. A small menu is fine, because they've concentrated on doing it all well. Great beers and Fentiman's soft drinks complimented a Ceasar Salad and a grilled chicken sandwich, both of which were up there with the best of their type we've ever had.

A lovely place to while away an hour or so with the day's papers (provided), and they're dog and child friendly.

“Good for us kids!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

Conwy Fall café a stopping off point whilst in North Wales to enjoy a snack of quality in comfortable surrounding. Good location for those hearty walkers out there or if you are just going to stroll to the falls. There is something about the area of Betws-y-Coed that draws us back year on year, maybe it stems from my early cycling day & challenging hills or the special days we spent there as a couple.
The staff are commendable - thank you. Worth dropping in for a cuppa. Regards x GCD
