“Beautiful old coahing inn with loads of atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2010

My husband and I stayed next door to the Ty Gwyn at Glyntwrog House B&B. I booked a table at the Ty Gwyn for my husbands birthday. We had a lovely evening. The Inn was beautiful and the bar area was so cozy and atmospheric. We were a little disappointed with the food - it was good but not fantastic,. After our meal we moved to the bar and had a few drinks. It was absolutely lovely and so cozy. Definitely recommend an evening at the Ty Gwyn.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2010

We stayed here in August 2009. We cannot praise The Ty Gwyn enough. The food is superb. I still can taste the steak it is the best steak I have ever tasted. We stayed for a romantic few days and thought how wonderful it would be to have Christmas there, alas to my disappointment Christmas breaks are not available. Thank You for the most romantic memorable enjoyable perfect time.

“Excellent !”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2009

Came for diner in the begining of the week, every restaurants in Betws-Y-Coed was quiet but not Ty Gwyn.
The restaurant was very busy.
I had scallops and seabass, my partner had duck confit and shoulder of lamb.
Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was very funly and knowledgeable.
We will definitly return in december for our xmas party.

“Good, sometimes very good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2009

I've had some superb meals here. Although you can be a little packed in if you're in the bar, the overall experince is very good. Booking necessary in school holidays. Make sure you're hungry as the portions can be hearty.
