We were recommended this restaurant by the owner of the B&B we stayed in, in this village, further backed up by the reviews on trip advisor. It was difficult to get a table (and we saw some turned away on the evening due to a full house) so we took a table in the bar area. It is worth noting that I called the week before to make this reservation but because this restaurant is also a hotel the tables are in high demand, so do book early to avoid disappointment. The food here was delicious and very reasonably priced, with a shared starter, two mains, a shared dessert, bottle of wine and tip coming to just £60, a very reasonable price for excellent gastro pub style food, fine wine and a fantastic ambiance, view and attentive service. This restaurant is tucked away on the edge of the village but make sure you find it because its a hidden gem!
