What a wonderful place to come and stay for a weekend brake, as said in other reviews the pictures don't do this place justice. We came away for a quiet weekend brake away we will keep returning here because its such a homely and comfortable place to stay. The hosts Michael and Tracy couldn't be any more kind and helpful during our stay, we stayed on top floor apartment which is a must, the place was clean and tidy . We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to anyone else to come and stay you will not be disappointed. But once again a big thank you to Michael and Tracey for there hospitality. Thank you Aled and Alys

Have recently returned from spending Valentines day weekend (it was a long weekend) staying in the one bed apartment, where we instantly felt at home (to be honest it was cleaner than my house!)

Michael and Tracey couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming, we arrived by train but had a great four days without any need for a car. We hugely enjoyed the local food recommended to us (Ty Gwyn and the Bistro being the highlights).

The grounds of the property are delightful for a quick stroll (with a river for pooh sticks for children/child-like adults), and beyond that the surrounding area is fantastic, with good public transport links if required.

Cannot thank Michael and Tracey enough for our stay (which we thought was excellent value), and hope to see you again soon!

Room Tip: Admittedly there was no room service, I accidentally ticked the box and can't work out how to un...

what a wonderful place! the photos don't really do the justice to this amazing house and picturesque ground. even in the rain, the appartment was like a home huge, cosy and very well equipped, the host was extremely friendly, accomodating and helpful. I would love to come back and stay for much longer..

We recently returned from a wonderful stay over Autumn half term at Coed-y-Celyn.
We stayed in the 3 bed apartment and it really felt like a home from home with everything you could possibly need.
Tracey and Michael are extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the local area which helped to make the stay even more enjoyable.
The location of the Hall is excellent, although the entrance is not immediately obvious when arriving, especially in the dark. Although Betws y Coed is only a short walk away, the road outside the Hall is unlit without a pathway for the first couple of hundred yards, so with young kids, it's probably safest hopping in the car if heading in to town to eat.
We ate at the Dragon Chinese restaurant, which was reasonable with friendly service. However the highlight was Ty Gwyn - only 1/4 mile from the Hall - where the food was exceptional and very reasonably priced, however you do need to book as it is understandably very popular. We also had fish and chips one night from thelocal chippy, which was very nice.
There is so much to do in the area for all age groups that we will definitely return - whatever the weather.

Coed-y-Celyn Hall is such a lovely place to stay - beautiful grounds, lovely high ceilings in the apartment and a lovely comfy bed! It was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need for our self catering holiday. The hall is close to Betws y Coed - a great base for exploring Snowdonia and with lots of very nice walks nearby. Thank you to Michael & Tracy for giving us such a fantastic stay x

Such friendly and helpful people, Michael & Tracy help you make the most of your trip with tips on the best places to visit. This is an amazing place to stay and ideally located, you really couldnt ask for more. Betws y coed is a few minutes drive away or a nice 10 - 15 minute walk along the lanes which is great for going to town for a bite to eat. xx
